Wintermint Copper and Czech Glass Earrings

With winter mint green seed beads and Czech Aurora Borealis  stars like the Northern Lights, the copper earrings are a beautiful prelude to Spring in the midst of winter.

I was delighted to get into my stash of Czech mixed beads that I'd purchased for the green drusy quartz.

Using Margot Potter's tutorial, "The Art of Making Earrings," I created the copper earrings for my GemFairy Jewel School review of her dvd tutorial. Potter's Dvd has excellent designs that teach the techniques a beginner needs to build design experience, while bringing inspiration to the experienced jewelry artist.

The earwires are handcrafted with copper wire, a technique Potter teaches in the Dvd, and the shades of winter green are soft and calming in the "lace" beads and starry night charms. One of my favorite designs ever, I wear these lovely, cool earrings often!

 Namaste,
